Nashville-based “Blackwood Legacy” gospel group, featuring former Blackwood Brothers Quartet lead singer and Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee Rick Price, will be performing a special holiday concert event this Sunday morning at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Fairfield.
Admission is free and a love offering will be received. The concert will begin at 10:30 a.m.
The Blackwood Brothers tribute concert blends well-remembered old favorites and new contemporary worship.
Included in the talent lineup is Washington state native Luke Yates, pianist, vocalist and contemporary worship musician who recently exploded on the Gospel scene. Also joining the team is Price’s daughter Allie.
Emmanuel Baptist Church is located on east highway 84 at county road 445. For more information, call 1-866-855-1036 or visit the group website at www.blackwoodlegacy.com.
