notice is hereby given to all interested persons, that;
The City of Fairfield, Texas upon receipt of a Petition Requesting Annexation, attached as “Exhibit A”, accepts said petition and hereby proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said city to include the following described territory, to-wit;

Reed League, Abstract No,. 23, Freestone County Texas, and being all that certain called 180 acre tract of land described as Tract 1 and being part of that certain called 179.80 acre tract of land described as Tract 2 in a deed from John Wilson to Graham Williford, dated January 21, 2003, and recorded in Volume 1229, Page 792 (Ref. 420/446), and being all of that certain called 0.339 acre tract of land described in a deed from Lester Eubank to Graham Williford, dated April 6, 1977, and recorded in Volume 482, Page 426, of the Deed Records of Freestone county, Texas, said 370.11 acre tract to be more particularly described by metes and bounds, recorded as “EXHIBIT A” in Volume 1436, Page 384 Deed Records of Freestone County Texas.

A public hearing will be held by the City of Fairfield, Texas on the 14th day of May 2008 at 5:15pm in the City Council Chambers of the City of Fairfield Municipal Building located at 222 South Mount Street, Fairfield, Texas, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation. At said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard. Of all said matters and things, all persons interested in the things and matters herein mentioned will take notice.
